In the first quarter of 2025, the top-performing tower defense games in Costa Rica demonstrated varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, based on Sensor Tower data, provides insights into these metrics for each game.

Plants vs. Zombies™ from Electronic Arts showed fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at around $72 in mid-January, with a decline towards the end of March. The game’s weekly downloads began at approximately 4.2K, decreasing steadily to around 1.7K by the quarter's end. Active users followed a similar pattern, dropping from 18.1K to approximately 11.2K.

TDS - Tower Destiny Survive by SayGames Ltd experienced a peak in weekly revenue of about $43 in late January. Downloads saw a slight increase in March, reaching around 1.7K. The game maintained a relatively stable number of active users, with a significant drop in the final week to about 1.2K.

Space Survivor from iStar Technology Investment Co Ltd did not generate any revenue during this period. Downloads were initially around 1.9K, decreasing to just under 1K by the end of March. However, active users remained strong, consistently above 60K throughout the quarter.

Plants vs Zombies™ 2, also by Electronic Arts, recorded a notable increase in revenue, peaking at $378 in the final week of March. Downloads decreased from 1.6K to 843, while active users saw a gradual decline from 9.3K to approximately 7.1K.

Fight For America: Country War by Homa showed minimal revenue throughout the quarter, with occasional peaks. Downloads decreased steadily from 954 to 367, while active users showed a downward trend, ending at about 1.8K.
